Hello! I have always liked Maserati's. They are cool, fast and stylish. I have recently returned from the San Francisco car show, and I was able to get into the new Ghibli. The Maserati Ghibli is the cheapest Maserati there is, starting at $66,900. The S Q4 model is $76,900. Other Maserati's are around $120,000. I'm not trying to be a cheapo, but for a good Maserati, that's a good bargain! Both come with a 3 liter engine, and the standard produces 345 horsepower, while the S Q4 model produces 404 horsepower. That's pretty fast for a 4-door car. That's all I have on the Ghibli, so blog ya later! (P.S. I couldn't find any pictures of this car, but I bet you can find some on the internet. Sometimes this Blogger is very stupid once it comes to pictures). Oh well. Blog ya later!

Hey! It's me, the wonderful Skyler! I have noticed that motors have gotten better over the years. Ok, that's a stupid comment. OF COURSE, they've gotten better over the years with the new technologies we are gaining. I was also looking at old cars. Honestly, they look more fun to drive than the newer cars. The speed-o-meters look cooler, the door handles look fun to pull, and even the shape and body of the car looks more classic than new cars. They look nicer and will get you a lot of attention if you drive one. I've also realized that all these car models and brands went bye-bye over the years. I was looking at a display from all these car brands from the 1940s or 50s and there were only 3 or 4 that were still running today like Chrysler and Ford. That seems very interesting to me why they went down. Probably because they lost the rent on the factories. Who knows? Well, maybe someone knows, but not me. So, you can go look that up when your on the computer at your house. Blog ya later!

Hello again! It's me, Skyler. I have seen the GMC Canyon around before, when it wasn't new. You may think they stopped selling new versions of it. Well, you're wrong. The new 2015 GMC Canyon is back and as awesome as before, I guess. It is a pickup truck, and looks a lot like the GMC Sierra. But if you look at it close up, it really does look like an old Canyon. Now it has a modern look to it and modern features. It is your powerful pickup truck and by the looks of it, you can take it anywhere with your family from the mountains to the oceans. Everything you want in a pickup is there so get this fall! Blog ya later!

This car can be a great family sedan with 295 horsepower and 36 highway mpg. It may not be the flashiest car you have ever seen, but at least put it on your to do list to take a test drive in one of these.
This car also comes with many safety features including lane departure warning.
According to which type you get, this car starts from 21,700 - 25,995. A little much for a small car compared to the Nissan Sentra or Versa sedan, but the Chrysler 200 is the perfect little car for a family. Blog ya later!

Hey everyone! I love video games. I also love cars. (Duh) So, I've searched around for car video games. I have found a couple of games including MarioKart games and Asphalt 8 or 7 or whatever. I play them a lot, but I like Asphalt 8 better. It plays music from the radio including Animals by Martin Garrix. You can also race real cars in real places. My favorite car is the Citroën Survolt. It is very fast and very pretty. You can drift and do many crazy stunts along the track. We have the game on our Apple devices like an IPad or IPhone. Get the game! You'll be as happy as if you were driving it. Blog ya later!

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't blogged in a while. To make it up to you, I have a very special treat in store. I visited my uncle in Nevada for his birthday, and guess what he owns? A 2006 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S. :D! That vacation couldn't be completed without a ride. So, 30 minutes past noon, we headed out.
Here ya go! An exclusive review of a Porsche from your favorite blogger in the world Skyler! My uncle bought it used so I'm guessing it was cheaper than the new ones. The ride was very good for a sports car. You could put it into sport mode for a stiffer suspension. It accelerates well and my uncle's had an automatic gearbox. If he wanted to, he could put it into a standard type and change gears whenever he wanted.
To answer your question, no, it wasn't a convertible. But, I had a great time anyway. It was a lovely little car and a great way to spend an afternoon. Blog ya later!

Hola amigos! Yesterday, I helped change the tire on my dad's old truck. The tire was REALLY flat. we couldn't figure out why though. First, we found the spare tire from under the car. We took it off and put a jack under the car to lift it up. I tried turning the lever to lift the car up from the jack, but it was a lot of work and my arms got tired very soon. Once the car was high enough, we unscrewed the nuts on the old tire. My dad took it off and rolled it into the garage. Then, we fit the spare tire into the holes where the nuts will go on a car. We screwed the nuts on and the tire was all set! We lowered the car to the ground again, and put all the supplies back into the compartment in the back of the car. It got really hot really soon.
This morning, we carried the tire out of the garage and lifted it into the back and went to a tire shop. They fixed the flat tire, but they couldn't find the source of its flatness either. They took the spare off and put the normal tire back on again. We drove off without a problem.
Well, now I know how to change a tire! Unfortunately, every car is different, so I will probably have to go over the manuals to figure everything out. The spare tire was kind of ugly because it was all black. It didn't quite fit in with the other guys. This picture isn't my tire, but it will give you a perspective on what a spare tire looks like if you haven't seen one. Blog ya later!

Hello again! Now, I always thought that the Hyundai Genesis was a rare car. I didn't even know it was a car until my friend Stacy's dad bought one in 2011. It was a 2012 model. I got to ride in it a lot because both my parents work all day and her father was home all day watching Stacy and I after school.
After he bought it, I started seeing many of them around. Three year later, Hyundai has come up with a new 2015 Genesis.
The new 2015 model has rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. It also has either a 311hp 3.8 liter V-6, or a 420 hp 5.0 liter V-8. With an 8 speed automatic transmission, this car is a perfect luxury sedan without the price of a Lexus, starting with a 38,000 dollar price tag.

Hello everyone! Everyone knows the Tesla Model S. If not, look to the middle left. That is the only car out now from Tesla, but they are making another car called the Model X. (Top and Bottom Left) It is a car that is half minivan half SUV. It gives the benefits of a minivan while living up to its SUV standards like all wheel drive.
If it's a Tesla, it's electric. It will go to 0-60 in under 5 seconds. The back doors are falcon wing doors and the front doors are just regular side-to-side doors. It also carries a third row in the back for your friends to hop along for the ride.
There aren't many reviews on this work of art. You can reserve this car if you like it now, and it will be delivered to you in the fall of 2015. Yes, it may seem like a long time away, but this car is definitely worth it. Blog ya later!

Hey everyone! This post is going to be about the movie Cars. I am going to try and figure out what car is what car in real life. For example, Lightning McQueen is a Ford Mustang in my mind. I'm not going to put each picture of each car I compare, so if you don't know the character, look them up.
This is an older Ford Mustang. Above is Lighting McQueen.
Mater is a tow truck. (Duh) I can't figure out what type of tow truck but I know he's a rusty one! :) Sally is defiantly a Porsche. They even said so in the movie. Lizzie is a very old car. In fact her car was called the Lizzy. Sheriff is of course a police car, an older one like the Ford Crown Victoria or the Police Interceptor. That is all the cars I'm going to list today. Blog ya later!

I have actually learned a lot from this show. I learned that there are many car brands not here in the U.S. like Scotia or Vauxhall. Britain also has the same brands we do. They have Nissan, Toyota and Honda just like we do. They mostly have the same models, but some names are changed. The Honda Fit here is called the Honda Jazz over there. They don't have any car brands that have only big trucks and SUVs like GMC or Ram.
The presenters also tell viewers things like a Top Gear Top Tip. Unfortunately they don't give anything useful to me and they don't do them that often. In one episode they almost got killed in America so they made a Top Tip of not going to America. That doesn't really help because I live in America. Oh well.

Why get this than a luxurious and tremendously fancy GMC Yukon? My family didn't test drive that, but we looked at it and boy, was it pretty. Don't let its good looks fool you though, it doesn't have the best price or fuel mileage. It may have more space, but it still has that truck feel that not a lot of people like! Sorry GMC, I like the Highlander better! It's been fun going through the latest SUVs with you guys. Blog ya later!

Hey guys! Guess what? I have a new favorite video game! It's called Asphalt 8. You guys should really try it! If you get the update, you can buy the totally awesome 2015 Ford Mustang! Pretty exciting right? If you guys don't have the money or the time to buy the game, you can see the new car right here below! Sweet!
It has a 6-speed-manual transmission and seats 4. It has a more aggressive look than before. The tail-lights seem a bit more boxy to me, but in all, they do very much seem alike.
This car is to start production today in the United States!

Hi!
I’m Skyler Sanchez a.k.a., The Car
Expert. This blog is anything and
everything about cars. I will post some reviews, random facts I find interesting, new car trends and news for motoring shows! If you're confused, that will all be on cars, not the new make-up trends hitting the shelves of Target or wherever you shop at. But, this first post
is just going to be about me. Yay! Even though I’m twelve and don’t have my
license, I still love cars and the TV show Top
Gear U.K. My favorite episode is
where they go to America in super cars showing the Lexus LFA, an Aston Martin Vanquish and a SRT Viper. That show is so funny!
Anyway, let me tell you
about my love for cars. I love going to
car shows. I like seeing all the latest
models and some to come. Sometimes you even get to see super cars like Lamborghini or
Ferrari. RANDOM CAR FACT! (Another thing you should know is that I do
random car facts from time to time randomly :D). Did you know that Enzo Ferrari created the
brand and that there is a Ferrari called the Ferrari Enzo? Cool!
Whenever my family thinks of buying
a new car, I’m always the one that wants to go shopping with them. My brother and my sister don’t like it as
much though. I help them decide what
cars to look at and I tell them my opinions.
If I’m going to ride in it, and maybe soon drive it, I’ve got to give my
opinion too!
Also, on our most recent summer vacation, we needed to rent a car. It was either a Ford Focus, Chevrolet Volt, or Toyota Land Cruiser. My family didn’t know which one was the biggest. We need space on our trips for our bags and if any friends and/or family want to come along with us anywhere. So they called The Car Expert. (Me). I told them the Toyota Land Cruiser was the biggest, so we rented that. My sister thinks I waste my time on all this car knowledge, but that situation proves that being an expert on cars can be helpful.
Well, that’s all I have today. Blog ya later!
